Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new clients and families, welcoming and understanding diverse backgrounds.
- Provide personalized outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client, fostering healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans, supporting stable functioning and empowering clients on their mental health journey.
- Engage actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, contributing your expertise to enhance overall client care.
- Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, maintaining high professional standards.
- Collaborate effectively with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
- Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
- Strong passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development in mental health, including free supervision and continuing education opportunities.
- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
