Job Description: JOB TITLE Director of Community Partnerships PROGRAM Post Release Services REPORTS TO Assistant Program Director SALARY $90,000.00/Annual LOCATION Remote JOB TYPE Exempt WORK SCHEDULE 40 Hours per week General Description The Director of Community Partnerships is a member of the organization's Program Management Office and is responsible for developing a robust national partnership network that can be mobilized to serve vulnerable children and their families, particularly those within the immigrant community. The role requires strong leadership, program development in acumen, and the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally. This position will oversee the US HSPRS community resource department and will play a central role in developing and managing the department. The Director of Community Partnerships will work closely with program administration, Regional Supervisors, and the Community Resource Coordinators to facilitate providing necessary resources for children and families and strategizing responses to address case trends and resource gaps. This role will also interface with key stakeholders, including other national social service providers, and serve as a representative of the program and company at key events. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least five years of supervisory experience.
- At least five years of experience in community-based organizations, especially in the faith-based ecosystem.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading teams and providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, adapting, and customer-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- A valid driver's license to travel for meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant field (i.e. Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field).
- Program development and organizational leadership experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
What You'll Be Doing
- Build, coach, and lead a dynamic team of Community Resource Coordinators, interns, and support staff to ensure the Urban Strategies resource and referral network is well developed and US HSPRS program resource needs are met.
- Collaborate with program and regional leadership to identify new opportunities for growth and lead new program initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with local, state, and national stakeholders within the social service and ORR ecosystems.
- Develop a system and catalogue all equitable services and resources in the different communities and rural areas for children and their families.
- Assess and gain an understanding of community dynamics and opportunities for resources in each region by supporting the Community Resource Coordinators in networking, building, and identifying new partners which may include churches, public and vocational schools, colleges, childcare providers, legal resource providers, and employers.
- Maintain existing community partnerships and develop strategic partnerships, to include establishing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and contracts, as applicable.
- Work cross sectionally with the supervisory team and training, communications, and recruitment departments to ensure program information and opportunities are disseminated to internal and external audiences.
- Facilitate opportunities that can help recruitment efforts and build community resources.
- Develop and train on processes and procedures to ensure department operations are effective.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators for the department.
- Report department data to program and company leadership and funder.
- Travel as required for local, state, and national team meetings, trainings, and partnerships development.
- Related duties as assigned and may be revised as needed to meet program needs.
