- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed plans.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with a focus on patient safety.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.
- Monitor patient responses and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and what to expect.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist - Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
