Probationary period will not apply to shift changes.Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Attending, Director of Ultrasound, and Division Administrator, the Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations. The role requires independent judgment, professionalism, and the application of advanced scanning techniques to support diagnostic assessments in women's health.Position Details:Full-time (5 days/week)Must be able to travel between multiple practice locations as assignedKey Responsibilities:Perform OB/GYN ultrasound studies with a high level of technical skill and clinical understandingGenerate preliminary written impressions for physician reviewMaintain equipment cleanlinessPerform high-level disinfection in accordance with protocol and safety standardsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program meeting ARDMS eligibility criteriaCurrent RDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)Minimum of 3 years' experience performing OB/GYN ultrasound, including demonstrated proficiency in high-risk obstetrics (as assessed by the Director of Ultrasound)Preferred Qualifications:Two years college or equivalentPrevious experience working in an academic Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) practiceARDMS certification and hands-on experience in fetal echocardiography Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
