Job Opportunity: Certified Medical Assistant (PRN / Local Contract) - Protouch Staffing Are you a Certified Medical Assistant looking for flexible work opportunities? Protouch Staffing is seeking skilled and dedicated Medical Assistants to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) or local contract basis. You'll be an integral part of the clinic team, supporting smooth customer flow while providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Shifts will be Monday-Friday $25.50/hr Key Responsibilities:
Perform standard rooming procedures to prepare patients for their visit Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider Collect laboratory specimens and conduct point-of-care tests Support patients over the phone and assist with prescription refills Serve as a liaison between patients and providers to ensure effective communication Assist with x-ray duties if you've passed the x-ray operator exam Conduct phlebotomy duties and clinic lab tests as required
What We're Looking For:
Experience : 1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting Certifications : BLS (AHA only) required Education : Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
A MN DHS background check will be required upon offer acceptance
