Principal Accountabilities:
- Engage with the workforce by directing work assignments and providing development and coaching.
- Manage the workflow process related to electronics and electromechanical systems, including the ASRS system.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for electronic and electromechanical equipment, managing inventory and corrective actions.
- Advocate for a strong safety culture through training and observations.
- Serve as a liaison with contractors and the Utilities department for various projects and work orders.
- Develop and update PLC and HMI programs in accordance with guidelines.
- Ensure compliance of measuring devices as per regulatory standards.
- Oversee departmental budget, including labor and operating costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers.
- Competency in basic electrical circuits (24V and 120V AC and DC).
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in electrical or electromechanical technologies.
- Experience in a food processing environment.
- Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in installing and troubleshooting industrial networks, including Ethernet systems.
- Able to read and interpret schematics and conduct machine installations and repairs.
- 3-5 years of experience with industrial process controls and networking.
