Salary Range: $72,400 - $76,800 annually

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse at Lifetime Assistance, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering medical care, supporting individuals in residential and day program settings, and ensuring compliance with health standards. You'll provide oversight to direct support staff, serve as a clinical leader, and be a key member of the interdisciplinary team working to improve lives every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health Care Coordination: Monitor the health and well-being of individuals supported and ensure follow-up care for all medical needs.

  • Medication Oversight: Ensure accurate medication administration, inventory, and compliance with Medication Policies and Procedures.

  • Staff Training & Supervision: Train and evaluate direct support staff in nursing procedures and medication administration. Provide clinical supervision to LPNs if applicable.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and electronic health records. Ensure compliance with all health regulations.

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with families, advocates, physicians, and team members to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care.

  • Emergency Response: Provide first aid and clinical assessments during health emergencies, hospitalizations, and post-discharge care planning.

  • On-Call & Coverage: Review RN on-call reports and assist with medical support across assigned sites as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Licensing: Current, unencumbered NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Experience: Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Driving Requirements: Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
