Full time, hourly, non-exempt. Salary range $22.00 - $28.00/hr based on experience and skill level. Rich benefit package, paid time off and flexible hours. Our projects include industrial water recycling at government sites. AVANTech's goal is to improve the environment around us and support our clients with innovative sustainable water treatment solutions. We are seeking an experience Quality Control Associate II to join our team in the Quality Assurance Department. A Day in the Life:

  • Review and verify technical project documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contract requirements
  • Ensure consistency across multiple document types, including inspection records, certifications, and test reports
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and QA/QC inspectors to gather required information and resolve discrepancies
  • Input and manage data with precision using Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
  • Assemble and finalize document packages for submittal to customers, including transmittals, indices, and digital formatting
  • Trach and maintain project documentation status using internal systems and document control protocols
What will set you up for success:
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a sharp eye for document accuracy and formatting
  • Certification or demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - to effectively interface with engineering, QA, and project teams
  • Proactive, organized, and self-directed with the ability to mange multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Experience working in a regulated or quality-controlled environment is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working independently as well as contributing within a high performing team
  • Mechanical drawing reading experience is preferred but not required
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative, document control, or quality support role
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and maintain complex documentation systems, both physical and electronic
  • Proven data entry proficiency with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe for document editing and formatting
  • Ability to assemble, format, and verify large technical document packages or customer facing reports
  • Experience managing task deadlines and document reviews across multiple departments
  • Excellent written communication skills for editing, summarizing, or compiling information clearly
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail and quality
  • Familiarity with electronic file naming conventions, indexing, and file version control
  • Experience handling confidential or regulated documents under quality assurance or compliance standards
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document procedures with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with basic office equipment (scanners, printers, label makers) and digital archiving processes
  • An Associates degree in business, technical, or project management field
  • Proven administrative capability; ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of safe working practices and procedures awareness necessary.
  • All candidates must be able to pass drug test, pre-employment physical, and background investigation.
