Manufacturing Engineer
North Salt Lake, Utah - On-site
As a Manufacturing Engineer , you will play a key role in optimizing and advancing our production capabilities. This position focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. You will collaborate across departments to develop innovative solutions that align with product requirements, industry standards, and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes through hands-on research and analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
Partner with vendors and operators to gain insight and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and test manufacturing methods and equipment tailored to evolving product demands.
Increase efficiency by analyzing workflow, space utilization, and equipment layout.
Establish and maintain quality assurance protocols for products and processes.
Estimate labor, material, and production costs to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare detailed reports by gathering and interpreting operational data and performance trends.
Support teams with engineering insights, technical documentation, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all manufacturing activities.
Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repair efforts as needed.
Maintain databases and digital records, including programming for automated systems.
Train and mentor technicians on new tools, processes, and procedures.
Stay current with industry advancements through ongoing education and networking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader company objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
Solid knowledge of process planning and industrial production methods
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with adaptability to various roles and challenges
