Shift: 12-hour VARYING shifts No overnights and few or no weekends Description:
- Ultrasound Sonographer GENERAL ULTRASOUND 60-mile radius rule
- One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography.
- Vascular and obstetric experience required.
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency with most major Medical Sonography equipment, manufacturer's hardware and software.
- Ability to comply with on-call specifics.
- Lead - Proficient in the use of a personal computer including word processing.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and to simultaneously handles multiple projects.
- Professional maturity that daily sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities of the position. High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to work under stress.
License Required:
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)or Registry eligible.
- Current BCLS certification Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.

Education: Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required.
