Physical Therapist at Skilled Nursing Facility An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Physical Therapist to contribute to a skilled nursing facility located in Williamsville, NY. Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Initiate skilled physical therapy treatments following physician's orders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss and address the special needs of residents to optimize care.
  • Contribute to Resident Care Planning meetings and provide cover for the Director of Physical Therapy when needed.
  • Manage statistical records of resident treatments and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Facilitate in-service training programs and assume duties of the Director of Physical Therapy during their absence.
  • Order and manage supplies required for resident treatments ensuring availability and efficiency.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MS/DPT).
  • Must have a current PT license or be eligible for licensing in New York State.
  • New graduates of accredited PT programs are welcome to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.
  • Strong understanding of local health regulations and ability to comply with these standards.
