About the Role:

Hazen and Sawyer is water-focus seeking a Assistant Engineer with 0-4 years of experience in delivering wastewater projects for municipal clients. As an Assistant Engineer, duties will be varied and may include initial studies, design and inspection of conveyance systems, inspection of stormwater infrastructure, design of wastewater treatment facility upgrades, design of water treatment facility upgrades, asset management, and/or design of green infrastructure. Field work and site visits from study or design through construction may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering)
• Strong time management skills
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Must be able to obtain a ME Professional Engineer license within 4 years of hire
• Proficiency in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience with CADD software
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
• Experience with data analysis and visualization
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of various projects
• Ensure that projects meet the required standards and specifications
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project success
• Conduct research and analysis to support project development
• Provide technical support and assistance as needed
