This company is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently. Salary/Hourly Rate:$28/hr - $30/hr Position Overview:Applicants for the Payroll Specialist role must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience with full-cycle payroll processing. Experience in assisting with payroll accounting and working with an Accounting team is a huge plus. Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
- Analyzing all aspects of the company's payroll and benefits processes.
- Maintaining accurate records for internal and external purposes.
- Heavy data entry and analysis.
- Checking timesheets for accuracy.
- Reporting and analysis for multiple departments.
Required Experience/Skills for the Payroll Specialist:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Payroll processing and experience with union and non-union payroll.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Payroll Specialist:
- Understanding of how the accounting processes connect with the Payroll department.
Education Requirements:
- Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience are required.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
