Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Woonsocket, RI. Candidates must have strong Unity and C# expertise, with hands-on experience developing for Meta Oculus and integrating AI-driven features via Copilot Studio. Rate Range: $68/hour to 85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop interactive AR/VR/MR applications using Unity and C# for platforms like Meta Oculus.
- Implement code changes, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve existing immersive training modules.
- Integrate conversational AI and Copilot Studio features to enable dynamic, voice-driven user interactions.
- Optimize performance and user experience across various headsets and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with business systems and training objectives.
- Support onshore operations during store hours (8 AM-6 PM EST) to ensure timely updates and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Game Development, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Unity development for AR/VR/MR platforms.
- Proficiency in Unity and C# with hands-on experience developing for Meta Oculus and optimizing immersive applications.
- Experience integrating AI-driven features using Copilot Studio, including voice interaction and dynamic scenario generation.
