About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Payroll Operations to lead our payroll processes for a substantial, multi-state caregiver workforce. You will play a critical role in overseeing the entire payroll lifecycle, including onboarding new caregivers and ensuring payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all regulations.
Your responsibilities will include managing a talented team, developing and implementing effective payroll strategies, and being the primary point of contact for any payroll-related inquiries or challenges. Collaboration with HR, Recruiting, and Compliance teams is essential to maintain accurate caregiver data and stay updated on the latest payroll regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years in payroll leadership with a strong history of scaling payroll operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments. In-depth knowledge of New York State labor laws and multi-state payroll processing is crucial. Proficiency in payroll systems and strong Excel/data analysis skills are required. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area is essential, and a Master's degree is preferred. While not mandatory, experience in healthcare, home care, or high-volume service sectors is highly beneficial.
