Job Summary: Join Boeing Defense as a Manufacturing Assembler B in Smithfield, PA, where you will play a crucial role in the production assembly operations of structural and mechanical components, aircraft systems, and accessories. Your responsibilities will include manual operations, participation in product and process improvement initiatives, and occasional travel to other Boeing facilities. If you are skilled at interpreting engineering drawings, working with precision tools, and have experience in fabrication and assembly processes, we want you on our team. Responsibilities: - Perform routine production assembly operations on various assemblies and systems - Contribute to the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technologies - Travel to other Boeing facilities as needed - Work onsite at designated locations Skills: - Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications - Experience with precision measuring tools - Proficiency in fabrication and assembly of mechanical or electrical systems following industry standards - Familiarity with machine shop processes Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - 1+ years of experience reading engineering drawings and schematics - 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools - 1+ years of experience in fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems using production industry standards - 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on quality and safety.
