Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is for Design Program Management for Transmission Transceivers new PIP development products, starting from PIP1 development and for coordination the product through to mass production handover
- PM responsibilities include full schedule definition for project, coordinating product and program cost analysis and tracking, and supporting core team meeting and cross functional requirements
- Secondary responsibility for supporting SharePoint site and sub-sites for the organization, and enhancing use of SharePoint to support the product development activities
Education & Experience
- MS/MBA or equivalent degree.
- 1-5 years' program management experience
- Experience in an organization developing high-tech electronic devices with embedded firmware a plus
Skills
- Project Management knowledge and experience needed
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Project experience required
- Experience with SharePoint and some SharePoint site ownership / administration is a major advantage
- Strong Jira knowledge and experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. required
Working Conditions
- This position is hybrid
- May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
- May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive's needs
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
