HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for a weekend-based assignment in Rochester, NY. This role offers a structured orientation followed by independent weekend coverage in a high-quality diagnostic imaging environment.

Position Summary

You'll perform routine and specialized MRI procedures using GE or Siemens scanners. The role requires strong technical ability, patient-focused communication, and comfort working independently on weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images

• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety

• Perform routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body imaging

• Complete all necessary documentation in compliance with EPIC and hospital protocols

• Coordinate with physicians for efficient workflow

• Maintain equipment and scanning area cleanliness

• Support patient care needs during scanning sessions

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience

• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is required

• Proficiency in:

• Non-contrast exams

• Routine MSK

• Neuro and spine imaging

• Occasional body MRI

Must be available to work 40 hours per week during the first two weeks of orientation

Ability to work independently for weekend coverage

Preferred

• ARRT certification (MRI or RT) preferred or willingness to obtain during/after contract
