Description: The Presort Unit processes legally mandated State and Federal programs which require mail be processed the day it is received. This temporary position is needed to produce a budgetary savings by chieving the greatest possible postage discounts. Employee will assist in processing mail in the Presort Unit of Mailing Services. Assignment calls for close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of documents. Due to the nature of the work, candidate must comply with department confidentiality requirements. Employee will be subject to prolonged standing, bending, lifting, stooping. May also include pushing, pulling mail carts and pallets and lifting to 50 lbs. Can maintain attention to detail. Work is performed in a warehouse environment, subject to noise, changes in temperature, dust, etc. Weight limit - 50 lbs. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Location: 7461 Crowner Drive, Dimondale, MI 48821
