Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Coffeyville, Kansas. As a member of our team, the selected candidate willConceptualizes, develops and evaluates new technologies and/or methods (mechanics, hydraulics, algorithms, software, etc.) to promote and maintain a competitive advantage. Plans and executes engineering work for product validation and verification of significant components of major projects or complete projects with more broadly defined objectives. Responsible for problem identification and resolution, corrective action tracking, reliability analysis and verification/validation test plan development.

This full-time position is indefinite in duration with theopportunityof professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

  • Assemble, install, and troubleshoot drivetrain components for performance testing to support product development.
  • Collaborate with engineers on powertrain/drivetrain test systems involving engines, transmissions, axles, hydraulics, load brake, and Dynos.
  • Work primarily on the shop floor (85% of time) in a team environment, requiring strong collaboration skills.

Requirements:

  • A 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Understanding of drivetrain systems.
  • Experience in assembling and investigating drivetrain components.
  • At least 2 years of experience with heavy equipment vehicles or components.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks.

:

  • Knowledge of CAN communications codes related to diesel engines, aftertreatment, and drivetrain systems.
  • Proven experience in working with electrical control circuits for test/process equipment.
