McMahon Center Closing Date: open until filled Job Objectives: To effectively maintain district personal computers, peripherals, networks, district websites, and assist in the design and maintenance of individual school web pages and other multi-media software applications. Assist in the maintenance of district phone systems, intercom and other multi-media equipment. - Minimum High School Transcript or GED.
- Background in electronics and personal computer (PC clone/Apple/Macintosh) hardware and software applications and networks.

- One year experience in operation/training in personal computers preferred.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Applicants employed in this position must be able to perform the following tasks and functions which are fundamental to the purpose of the position. Load and maintain software necessary for personal computers and web development. Work effectively with advanced software applications for video production, ID card production, audio and video compression for the web, and postal systems.
- Installs and maintains district administrative personal computers, peripherals and networks. Coordinates these activities with the district's Instructional Computer Coordinator where instructional and administrative areas overlap.
- Loads and maintains software necessary to accomplish administrative tasks on personal computers.
- Assist district employees in the use of computers and software, to include Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office Professional, and similar applications
- Working experience/knowledge of various computer networking environments, protocols and topologies such as IPX, TCP/IP.
- Be familiar with phone and intercom systems and cable required for Audio Visual systems.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Director, Hardware Services.

- Much hold valid Oklahoma Driver's License with a good driving record. Technician will be expected to drive personal vehicle to various job sites on occasion.
