POSITION PURPOSE: As a Solution Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact, grow your career, and contribute to the success of an industry leader. The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a member of the Business Development Team who is responsible for clearly communicating the various products and technologies currently offered within the Bluebird Network product portfolio during pre and post-sales customer interactions. The role will involve working closely with customers to understand their network infrastructure requirements, offer tailored solutions, and ensure seamless integration of our products into their networks. RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales support, or technical consulting for fiber optic backhaul solutions.
  • Experience with advanced fiber optic technologies such as Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), optical transport networks (OTN), and IP/MPLS.
  • Proficiency in network design tools and simulation software (e.g., Visio).
  • General knowledge of the mechanics of Google Earth and/or outside plant tools.
  • Enterprise telecommunications experience, preferred.
  • Internet Service Provider experience, preferred.
