Description
Join our dynamic team as a Project Scheduler, where you'll utilize your expertise in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules throughout the entire project lifecycle. You'll collaborate with program management, technical teams, and finance to ensure seamless schedule alignment, efficient resource tracking, and accurate milestone forecasting. This pivotal role supports planning, performance tracking, and reporting, all in accordance with our internal standards and client requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Craft and sustain comprehensive project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project or similar platforms.
Assist in the development and upkeep of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by integrating inputs from SAP and other data systems.
Manage daily resources effectively by generating assignment printouts for technicians and other team members.
Maintain schedule baselines while tracking performance against key project milestones.
Analyze project status and progress to pinpoint scheduling risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
Work closely with program management, technical teams, and finance to ensure project schedules align with goals, budgets, and forecasts.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports highlighting schedule data and analysis.
Ensure all project schedules meet internal standards and adhere to customer reporting requirements.
Provide input for cost estimating, risk management, and resource planning teams regarding schedule-related matters.
Track actual vs. planned activities and update forecasts accordingly.
Basic Qualifications
A current TS/SCI with Poly Clearance is essential.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree combined with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in project planning and performance monitoring for complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
Proficiency in developing and managing budgets, schedules, and key performance indicators aligned with contractual and project requirements.
Strong understanding of project controls, including cost, schedule, and risk analysis.
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools.
Effective business communication skills, capable of presenting updates and reports to stakeholders.
Experience coordinating across various functional areas (technical, finance, contracts) for schedule and cost alignment.
Familiarity with contract management processes and experience with compliance to contract terms and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional), or similar are highly regarded.
Experience in Agile or hybrid project management environments is beneficial.
Advanced skills in risk management, including risk identification and mitigation planning.
Experience in managing stakeholder relationships, including interactions with subcontractors, vendors, and customer representatives.
Solid background in resource planning and change management to adapt to evolving program requirements.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance-based reporting is a plus.
Proven ability to lead or mentor project team members, including junior staff and cross-functional contributors.

Pay Range: $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
