Software Developer Washington, DC and Wilmington, DE (Onsite) Fulltime Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Connect. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of implementing and managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing automation, data integration, and customer engagement strategies. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to meet business requirements.
- Utilize Marketing Cloud Connect to integrate Salesforce CRM with Marketing Cloud for seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and optimize customer journeys and campaigns.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Marketing Cloud Connect and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, specifically Marketing Cloud Connect.
- Proficient in SQL and data management within Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with AMPscript and Journey Builder.
- Solid understanding of marketing automation principles and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for marketing strategies.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and its integration with Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in developing custom applications or integrations using APIs.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email and landing page development.
- Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or related fields.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
