Positions are primarily days with late evening and on-call requirements. The CVT prepares the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures. They set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They must anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate equipment. Maintaining sterile instruments is essential. The CVT will function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Good organizational skills are a must. Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics is required. Experience in Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, and Vascular Interventions is necessary. Mechanical Circulatory Support experience is required, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and ProtekDuo. Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, and Valvuloplasty is preferred. Critical care or cardiac experience is required.
