This unit operates in a fast-paced environment, managing 20 to 27 patients per day with an average length of stay of approximately 27 hours. Care is provided for a diverse adult population that includes both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. Patient cases range from short stays to full admissions. The unit offers 24/7 provider coverage. Qualified candidates must hold a valid RN license in New York and have a minimum of two years of Med/Surg experience. Certifications required include BLS from the American Heart Association, with NIHSS preferred. Experience in telemetry is essential. Candidates must be able to commit to a 17-week contract.
