Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in New York, NY/Alpharetta, GA(Hybrid). This role requires deep expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and automation framework architecture to be considered. Rate Range: $41/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and BDD tools like Cucumber.
- Implement scalable test solutions following design patterns such as Page Object Model and principles like SOLID and DRY.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or TeamCity and manage test execution and reporting.
- Develop and maintain reusable libraries and utilities to support UI and API-level testing.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement of testing strategies.
- Ensure cross-browser and parallel test execution using Selenium Grid and TestNG/JUnit configurations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in test automation, with strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium.
- Proven expertise in designing and maintaining hybrid automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and BDD tools like Cucumber.
- Strong experience in integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/TeamCity) and managing test execution/reporting tools.
