We are a high-performing school with expectations of excellence and rigor in all areas of an educator's professional practice. We are seeking an experienced, positive, hard-working, and effective special education evaluator with high standards for themselves and others. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of four special education teachers, along with the following special education team members:
- 2 Speech and Language Pathologists
- 1 Occupational Therapist
- 1 Physical Therapist
- 2 School Social Workers
- 1 District BCBA
- 1 District Psychologist
This special education evaluator role involves administering norm-referenced, diagnostic special education academic testing, composing summary reports, observing students, and collaborating with classroom teachers, families, administrators, and other service providers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- Conducting classroom observations
- Assessing students
- Analyzing data
- Writing reports
- Consulting with teachers, counselors, families, administrators, and other colleagues
- Assisting in developing IEP goals based on data
- Leading IEP and evaluation meetings
- Guiding teams through each step of the IEP evaluation process
- Proctoring standardized diagnostic assessments such as those listed below
- Wechsler Individual Achievement Test - Fourth Edition (WIAT-4)
- Woodcock-Johnson IV
- Woodcock Reading Mastery Tests - Third Edition
- Test of Early Written Language - Third Edition (TWEL-3)

Certification/Job Requirements:
