We are looking for a Hygienist to join our growing team. New graduates are welcome to apply! The office is fast-paced with a patient-oriented team. The hygienist will have their own assistant. Applicants must be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, have compassion and empathy, display a friendly energetic attitude and work as a team player. Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathering patient information and health background
- Taking x-rays when necessary
- Preparing the work area for procedures
- Performing a variety of hygiene procedures including, but not limited to prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride varnish, placement of localized antimicrobial agents, delivery of local anesthesia etc..
- Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits
- Updating patient charts
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment

- MA Registered Dental Hygiene License (required)
- MA local anesthesia license (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred)
- Understanding of hygiene procedures
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills
