Description: Daytime/ Evening/ Overnight/ Live-in Shifts available FULL TIME & PART TIME Hours
Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As Assisting Hands CHHA, or Live-in you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:
Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
Meal preparation and feeding
Range of motion/exercises
Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
Medication reminders

Qualifications:
One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.
Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board
Primary Duties:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within client's residence.
The performance of all personal care activities contained in a written Plan of Care.
Providing nutritional support as needed.
Reporting changes in the client's condition.
Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living such as a wheelchair, walker, or hoyer lift
Assisting the client with medication reminders
Abides by all policies and procedures outlined in the agency's Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.
Hours: Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
