Job Description :
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain SAS programs for automated reporting and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Create and optimize SAS stored procedures and views for improved data accessibility.
  • Maintain and develop data interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot system and batch processing.
  • Design and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and share business insights.
  • Identify trends and patterns in data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Document technical processes and maintain data dictionaries.
  • Validate data quality and implement data cleaning procedures.
  • Mentor junior analysts in SQL and SAS best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAS programming to mine, alter, manage, retrieve, and combine data from a variety of sources and perform statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in SAS programming, including macro development and PROC SQL.
  • Proficient with SAS data integration and query tools.
  • 5+ years of advanced SQL skills including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.
  • 3+ years of experience in data visualization and tools.
  • strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Technical Skills:
  • SAS Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, PROC SQL.
  • SQL Complex querying, stored procedures, performance tuning.
  • Linux, shell scripting, process scheduling, application scheduling, basic peripheral devices, and file systems.
  • Database platforms, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar.
  • PI development.
  • Data visualization Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
