We are hiring part-time Certified Home Health Aides to provide essential support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and dignified in their own homes. Our non-medical services are designed to meet the challenges of aging with care and compassion.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Offering medication and appointment reminders
• Helping with grooming and bathing
• Supporting clients with toileting and incontinence needs
• Delivering compassionate care to clients with Alzheimer's

While prior caregiving experience is valued, it is not required. All new Certified Home Health Aides will undergo specific training designed by Home Instead, leading to an in-house certification in Personal Care tasks. This training ensures confidence in providing emotional, physical, and mental well-being support.

To qualify as a Home Instead Certified Home Health Aide, you should have:

• The ability to treat and care for aging adults and their belongings with dignity and respect
• Strong communication skills to connect with clients in a friendly and caring manner
• Proven reliability and trustworthiness
• The capacity to complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance if driving clients
• Availability to work between 15-40 hours per week
• A current HHA license in New Jersey
