Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. The Database Specialist will:
- Be responsible for maintenance and support of the District's information databases and responsible for the development, installation, enhancement and maintenance of the District's computerized databases and information systems.
- Recommend improvements in procedures, installation, and use of systems to meet District information reporting requirements.
- In collaboration with various sites and departments, prepares, reviews, reconciles, and maintains complex statistical reports generated as system products for both intra- and inter-district and outside-agency purposes
- Performs a variety of difficult and responsible services to District users intended to assist them in making the most effective use of core District applications and data in accomplishing District and site/department goals.
- To do related work as required.
DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

- WORK SITE: Technology Department
- WORK SCHEDULE: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- BENEFITS: Benefit package includes, Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 16 paid holidays a year).
- REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Associate Degree in Computer and Network Systems or a closely related field is preferred; at least three (3) years of progressively responsible information systems experience involving large-scale databases. Experience using Student Information Systems and other database applications.
