About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS and Linux, to join our Platform Infrastructure Group as an Associate Vice President. This pivotal role focuses on cloud architecture and the creation of secure, automated, and scalable AWS infrastructure. As a key member of the Cloud Architecture Team, your responsibilities will include:

• To champion and implement AWS best practices and security protocols.
• To enhance and maintain various cloud services.
• To adopt multiple roles, including that of a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), ensuring optimal performance and seamless deployment.
• To improve monitoring strategies for our infrastructure.

This role requires excellent communication skills due to the need for interaction with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps or SRE, with at least 4 years specifically in AWS.
• Proven experience with microservices, especially using Docker and Kubernetes in production settings.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS, command-line, scripting, and configuration management principles.
• Proficiency in coding with Python or Ruby, with an emphasis on demonstrating this skill.
