In this role, you'll help process payroll for a multi-state workforce, support compliance and reporting efforts, and serve as a key resource for employee pay-related questions. - Process bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees
- Review and audit timecards and payroll data for accuracy
- Calculate and enter wage adjustments, bonuses, garnishments, and deductions
- Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain employee payroll records and respond to pay-related inquiries
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on payroll changes and reporting
- Support year-end activities including W-2 distribution and payroll audits
- Assist with payroll process improvement initiatives and documentation
What We're Looking For: - 2-4 years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or Workday
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and multi-state compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
- Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Washington state payroll
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos)
