Payroll Clerk (Lafayette, CA) LHH is teaming up with a public sector organization in Lafayette, CA in search of an Entry-Level Payroll Clerk to support their growing HR and payroll operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate eager to launch a career in payroll or human resources. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly desired, and a proactive attitude will go a long way in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing and data entry
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Support HR and finance teams with administrative tasks
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (required)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
