Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Cloud Engineering to elevate our cloud engineering function to new heights. This is a key leadership role that involves defining and executing a strategic cloud engineering roadmap aligned with our business objectives. Your contributions will drive our cloud transformation, emphasizing innovation, agility, and secure operations across diverse cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection of cloud services and direct the architecture and deployment of enterprise-wide cloud solutions.
  • Ensure the design of scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures.
  • Build and mentor a multi-tiered cloud engineering team, championing best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native engineering.
  • Oversee monitoring systems, incident response, and support processes.
  • Establish cloud security and governance frameworks in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience in leadership roles.
  • Technical proficiency in major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP, with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale private and public clouds.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code, scripting, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance in regulated industries and exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or hybrid work environments is a plus.
