Job Description :

We're looking for a detail-oriented Software Engineer in Test to join our team and contribute to the quality and reliability of our complex, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in QA methodologies, a strong grasp of system architecture, and an automation-first approach to problem-solving. This role is 100% remote. Software Engineer in Test's Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Agile teams to plan, develop, and execute test strategies throughout the development lifecycle
  • Design and maintain automated test suites with a focus on scalability and efficiency
  • Analyze system behavior and identify root causes for issues in distributed environments
  • Work comfortably within Linux systems to support testing efforts and assist with basic maintenance tasks
  • Leverage logs, messaging patterns, and protocol traces to enhance debugging and diagnosis efforts
  • Translate business and technical requirements into thorough and effective test scenarios
Software Engineer in Test's Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with software testing in Agile environments
  • Strong scripting skills and a passion for automation
  • Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and basic troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with financial messaging protocols such as FIX
  • Ability to understand complex system flows and application architecture
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
