Key Responsibilities Product Compliance: • Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation. • Support product certification processes and documentation. External Quality Management: • Manage and investigate customer complaints related to product quality. • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues. • Analyze external quality data and trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Continuous Improvement: • Lead or support quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product compliance and external quality performance. • Develop and maintain quality control procedures and work instructions related to compliance and external quality. Audits and Reporting: • Participate in internal and external audits related to product compliance and quality. • Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Background and Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Proven experience in quality engineering with a focus on product compliance and external quality management. Strong understanding of regulatory standards relevant to the industry (e.g., ISO, Ex, UL, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
