Job Summary: The Facilities Coordinator (HYBRID) is responsible for supporting day-to-day facility maintenance needs to ensure company facilities are maintained effectively and efficiently along with meeting company and department initiatives and goals set by executive leadership and supervisor/manager. This Houston-based hybrid role will report to the BedQuarters (Corporate Headquarters) location in Houston 2 days per week and may work remotely the other 3 days each week. Essential Responsibilities
  • Interpret lease language for responsibilities related to service work.
  • Maintain database for repair and maintenance history for all facilities.
  • Code accounts payable invoices to ensure correct cost center accounting classification.
  • Coordinate work assignments among building technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Respond to service issues in a tactful and expedient manner.
  • Update the company's internal website with facilities related issues.
  • Partner with landlords and property managers to resolve all repair and preventive maintenance issues.
  • Act as liaison between Real Estate and Construction.
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance items with the Company's third party call center.
  • Provide support concerning maintenance and repair issues.
  • Respond to service issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
Non-Essential Responsibilities
  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred
Professional Experience
  • 3+ Years in Multi-site Facilities or Property Management Administration preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Facilities management software
