Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory treatments and perform patient assessments
- Operate and maintain ventilators, resuscitation equipment, and oxygen therapy devices
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses on individualized treatment plans
- Participate in emergency response scenarios (e.g., code blues)
- Accurately document care and patient response in medical records
- Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and calibration of respiratory equipment
Requirements
- Active Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Associate's or Bachelor's)
- Strong understanding of contemporary respiratory therapy principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
