Position Type: Business & Finance/Payroll Date Posted: 7/31/2025 Location: Crouse Education Center Date Available: Immediately Closing Date: Until Filled District: Indian Prairie School District 204 SUMMARY: Perform duties to provide assistance in processing payroll ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with all prevailing laws and regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Complete the sign-off process on all schools in Red Rover Time and Attendance. Proofread and edit the Red Rover Time and Attendance report. Verify and correct timesheets as necessary before entering them into Skyward. Verify and enter classified and non-bargaining employee payroll notifications into Skyward. Make final payouts to terminated / resigned classified and non-bargaining employees. Correct errors on the previous pay and enter them into Lawson for pay adjustment process. Run and verify payroll pre-list. Crosstrain with payroll coordinator to be able to run a complete payroll process from start to finish. Track time records for TRS for the following groups: substitute teachers, part-time teachers, summer school employees, and teacher docks. Answer incoming telephone calls and emails to provide appropriate information with regards to payroll. Provide assistance within the department as needed and at the direction of the Payroll Coordinator. Use personal computer and general office equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Certification/Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: 2 years of college and 3 years of experience Rate of pay: Starting rate of pay is $22.50-$32.00, experience will be considered. Final rate of pay will be aligned with those already in the District with similar experience.
