Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field preferred. An associate degree in engineering technology with relevant work experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically SOLIDWORKS.
• Strong understanding of cutting tool materials, geometries, and their applications in various machining operations.
• Familiarity with CNC machines, machining principles, and programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot process-related issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide mechanical and process engineering expertise to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity in the machine shop and finishing area.
• Analyze materials, machining requirements, and tolerances from a process and quality standpoint for various CNC machining operations.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for any process-related quality issues.
• Work closely with design engineers and production teams to provide technical expertise in the development and execution of machining projects.
• Maintain awareness of manufacturing and field quality performance, and incorporate countermeasures in new product designs.
