Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product. Job Overview:

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of critical programs across multiple teams and functions. You will collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure program alignment with strategic objectives, deliver successful outcomes, and continuously improve processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience); advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of combined experience in technical program management, project management, or related technical roles.

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional technology projects on-time and within budget.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and release management.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Experience in managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in complex environments.

  • Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus among diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud platforms, enterprise software, or infrastructure programs.

  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum Master.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, etc.) and best practices in security and compliance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics; manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion.

  • Develop detailed project plans, resource requirements, dependencies, timelines, and communication plans.

  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and blockers; facilitate resolution and ensure timely delivery.

  • Lead technical discussions and clarify technical dependencies, including APIs, integrations, data flows, and infrastructure needs.

  • Drive stakeholder alignment, provide executive-level communications, and lead regular status reviews.

  • Mentor and coach junior TPMs or project managers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Champion process improvements and operational excellence initiatives with measurable impact.

  • Ensure programs comply with security, privacy, and compliance standards.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
