ASSEMBLER OPENING TEMP TO HIRE POSITION IMMEDIATE OPENING 1st shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm POSITION SUMMARY: Perform processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools and pneumatic tooling to manufacture product to customer drawings and specifications. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations. • Must be able to operate hand tools and pneumatic tooling such as screw drivers, utility knives, screw guns and drills to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies. • Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection of component parts prior to assembly using basic measuring tools. • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions. • Must be able to cut insulation and use chemicals, adhesives, paints and inks. • Must be able to drive a sit-down forklift • Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements. • Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures. • Must have a working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally and in writing. QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to perform essential duties • High School graduate or equivalent • Minimum one-year related factory experience
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs. occasionally.
