A Day in the Life: In this vital role, you will implement, maintain, and support global system environments across multiple locations and countries. You will be responsible for configuring server hardware, software, and storage solutions to meet our diverse global business needs. As a senior point of contact, you will provide expert systems support to teams, network users, and other business units, addressing and resolving technical issues efficiently. The Impact You'll Make:
- Provide operational support for 600 Windows Servers (emphasis on Windows server 2016 and newer) and 120 SUSE Linux (SLES 12 and SLES 15) including patching, monitoring server performance and service availability within compliance to Service Level Agreements.
- Manage and upgrade and VCenter 7 and later with 40+ ESXi hosts.
- Manage Omnissa Horizon virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) pools and remote desktop services (RDS)
- Resolve high tier incidents and requests escalated from other support tiers.
- Leverage or build appropriate technical tools to perform administration tasks, root-cause analysis and service restoration (such as back up, restore, failover, log interpretation, and performance monitoring)
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all routine systems administration functions to ensure security requirements and operational goals are achieved.
- Manage and upgrade DELLEMC UNITY storage arrays.
- Partner with the app development, security and project management teams to help implement new systems and services. Develop automation tools and processes to help scale operations.
Who You Are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of --Computer Science or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in supporting a Microsoft enterprise technologies (Active Directory,GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS,
- Print services, File shares etc.), managing, troubleshooting Windows Servers.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux operating systems, especially SUSE Linux.
- Computer Skills Desired: Ability to write complex automation scripts using Powershell and experience administering Omnissa/VMWare Horizon.
- Preferred Certifications: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: More than 7 years of experience in managing virtual machines using VMWare hypervisors on Cisco UCS hardware, using DELLEMC SAN storage.
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated salary of $84,750 - $123,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
