The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care across a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. - Assist in scrubbing and circulating during a variety of surgical cases, including specialty operations such as transplants and reconstructive surgeries. - Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. - Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room. - Demonstrate proficiency in using advanced surgical technologies, including Davinci robotic systems. Job Requirements: - Current RN License for New York State (NY License ONLY). - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Operating Room setting; experience in a Level 1 Trauma center preferred. - Ability to scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association required; ACLS certification is preferred. - Strong surgical experience in specialty cases including transplants and orthopedic surgeries is highly desirable.
