SUMMARY Manages virtual servers, their hosts, and multiple cloud hosted systems and services including troubleshooting, monitoring, updating, and migrating. Network troubleshooting and configuration. The position requires some on-call after-hours availability and may include weekends as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Updates, troubleshoots, monitors, upgrades, and migrates Windows virtual servers.
- Manages data, server, and disaster recovery systems by doing backups, restorations, and testing.
- Assists Help Desk Technician with hardware, software, systems, and networking issues as a Level 2 escalation point, as well as professional development.
- Manages 365, Active Directory, Group Policies as well as RMM, Ticketing, VoIP, Cyber Security, and other systems.
- Identifies and implements automation and process improvements where applicable.
- Updates and create documentation for both IT and other departments relevant to IT systems.
- Collaborates within IT and with other departments to implement and improve systems.
- Works according to industry and cyber security best practices including adherence to regulations and licensing requirements.
- Maintain excellent internal service and satisfaction, providing backup support for coworkers when appropriate, actively supporting group goals, and training when necessary.
- Must be able to work the required work schedule and flexible to change shifts as needed. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Works physically onsite to manage business and interact personally with team members, vendors, and guests.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
REQUESTED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 2-5 years of experience with Systems Administration.
- IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other IT related fields are a plus.
- Working knowledge of virtualization: preference for Scale Hypercore.
- Working knowledge of networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in time-management and problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for positive interaction with staff, guests, and vendors.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex data, including reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate gaming license.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
- This casino has an enclosed gaming area where smoking is allowed. Team members may be exposed to a smoking environment in or around this designated smoking area.
