Second Shift - Custodial Staff Member Position: Second Shift - Custodial Staff Location: St. Dominic School & Church Job Type: Full time Salary: $16.00 Hr. Our custodial team is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our (second shift) custodial staff. Job Description: As a Second Shift Custodial Staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities remain clean, organized. This position is ideal for those who prefer to work later in the day. However, when children are not in school during the summer, day time hours are available. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas. - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. - Maintain the cleanliness of floors, carpets, and windows. - Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies. - Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to management. - Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed. - Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored properly. - Work with other team members to complete tasks efficiently. Qualifications: - Must be able to communicate effectively with staff in English, both verbally and in writing. - This position is available upon a successful background check. We conduct background checks to ensure a safe and secure environment for our students. - Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. - Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. - Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
