This position involves working on rotating shifts (days, evenings, and nights) along with every other weekend, holidays, on-call, and charge duties as per unit needs. As a part of our high-performing healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to adult patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the hematology and oncology population. - Develop and implement patient care plans based on individualized assessments and outcomes. - Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including telemetry monitoring. - Administer chemotherapy and perform procedures related to Bone Marrow Transplants (BMT) as required. - Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout treatment. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. Qualifications: - Valid RN License in New York (NY License ONLY). - Minimum two (2) years of acute care experience, preferably in medicine and oncology. - Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and telemetry is required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. - Chemotherapy certification is essential for this role.
